Family

Going through the Murphy and Lilly session pics last night I was compelled to touch on the topic of family as Murphy and Lilly are part of a large family. What's a large family?

Mom + Dad + 2 girls + 2 dogs (Murphy and Lilly) + 4 cats + 1 parrot = the Blair family. Now that is a home full of love.

I love this shot of Murphy. I'm drawn to the texture of his fur in this picture. Murphy ranks oldest 4-legged son in his family - he's Mom's baby-boy.

And for a Slobbery Kisses FIRST -- here's a picture of a cat. You have to be a pretty special cat to get on a dog blog. This is Suess. I love this shot of him at the top of the stairs, and with a picture like this, and him being Murphy and Lilly's brother and all I couldn't resist putting him on the blog.

Hook and Smee

Check out Captain Hook and Mr. Smee together. These two wonderful dogs + their creative and smart mom = one great family. I feel fortunate to know them.

Mr. Smee

Say hello to Smee. I doubt there will ever be another Smee as sweet as he....what a perfect addition to the Captain Hook family.

And just wait until you see Captain Hook and Mr. Smee in action together - I'll post those pics tomorrow.

Captain Hook

Named after Captain Hook in Peter Pan, and going by the name "Hook" this border collie is as special as the fairy tale which inspired his name is magical. And trust me, I know... I work with Hook's mom who raves about life with him constantly. Plus, you know what they say "a picture is worth thousand words" -- and you see the life and emotions he breaths through the pictures.

... but this fairy-tale isn't over. Hook's Mom recently got him a sidekick - Mr. Smee! Mr. Smee pics coming up next!

Lilly

Say hello to Lilly (Vanilli), an Italian Greyhound. Lilly is a happy and energetic little girl -- who is very lovable... she gave me kisses during my visit with her and her family.

Murphy

Well behaved. Calm. Sweet. I can't say enough good things about Murphy. Murphy wasn't so crazy about the camera, but it was obvious that he is crazy about his "Mom" - and that she has a soft spot for him.

Sergeant

Sergeant is a Tree Walker Coonhound and the "cousin" of Dash and Violet. Like the rest of his family he is adorable, and from the pics below you can see he's full of both sweetness and energy.

Dash and Violet

How cute are these two kids??!!

It was clear to me that they have quite a bond - I tried to capture it in the photos.

...but this family's cuteness just goes on! Wait until you see their cousin, Sergeant. His pics are coming up next.

Kiss, Kiss

I had a great photo shoot with the Parrish family today. It’s only natural that such a nice family would lead to amazing, heart-catching, photos. With the name of my blog being Slobbery Kisses and all, I just couldn’t resist posting this kissing shot of Dash and Violet as my sneak peak for this family.

More pics of this shoot coming soon...

On the move

Tyson's not watched by the paparazzi - but if he was...these would be the kinds of shots they would get of him traveling around town by car.

A super hot Thursday...

...resulted in Charlie getting a cool-down, spray-down....and that's all it took to get him running and jumping around.

Cozy

When I got home from work yesterday I found my son and Tyson hanging out on the bed together....just two little guys…chillin. They looked quite cozy.

It's all about the tongue

Tyson lets his tongue hang out...

Indoor play

The rain wouldn't go away today - limiting Charlie to indoor play. I took a picture of him as he was running around the house with one of Tyson's toys, which he'd managed to swipe.
